Who I AM
About Angie
I’m Angie Roberts — a proud Sweet Grass County local, wife, and mother who has built her life, career, and family right here at home. I was raised with an appreciation for hard work, personal responsibility, and the tight-knit community that makes rural Montana so special. Today, I balance family life with a professional background rooted in communication, people-focused leadership, and problem-solving.
My Background
I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Relations and have spent my career working in communications and human resources, including experience with the county’s largest taxpayer and within our local school system. My work has required navigating complex conversations, balancing competing priorities, and communicating clearly with employees, leadership teams, and community stakeholders.
In addition to my professional background, my family and I operate multiple small businesses right here in Sweet Grass County — including rental properties, a construction business, a marketing agency, and our family ranch. Like many local families, we juggle long days, tight margins, and a lot of moving pieces. That firsthand experience gives me a practical understanding of what local business owners, property owners, and working families face every day when it comes to regulations, taxes, workforce challenges, and long-term planning.
We’re a busy family — and that perspective keeps me grounded, practical, and focused on solutions that make sense in the real world.
Why I’m Running
I’m running for County Commissioner because I believe Sweet Grass County deserves leadership that listens first and acts thoughtfully. Growth is inevitable, but it must be managed responsibly. I want to make sure long-time residents aren’t pushed out, taxpayer dollars are respected, and decisions are made with transparency and common sense. This county raised me, and I’m committed to protecting its future for the next generation.
